About

Hey, I’m Tyler Nigro - a violin teacher and music producer based in Hurricane, Utah.I started learning violin with the Suzuki method at age 4 and have been playing for over 22 years. I’m a former instructor at the Sweetwater Academy of Music, with more than 4 years of teaching experience.Like many kids, I eventually quit classical lessons because practicing felt like a chore - and the music just didn’t excite me.Still, my love for the violin never really faded. The skills I gained through my early training gave me the freedom to start playing the music I actually enjoyed. When I became a teacher, I noticed my students felt the same way: they weren’t excited to practice, and the traditional songs didn’t inspire them. So I began creating my own system - mixing beats, pop riffs, and interactive tools with proven Suzuki principles. My students improved faster, practiced more, and actually enjoyed learning.I didn’t see anyone teaching violin quite this way, so I decided to build a program that helps kids (and parents!) discover just how fun and rewarding violin can be - whether you want to join an orchestra, play by ear, or simply jam along to your favorite songs. If you’re looking for a violin experience that sparks creativity, builds strong skills, and makes practice something your child actually wants to do, I’d love to meet you!
